Choreographer/Technician
Matthew Krawec
Matthew was born and raised in the Niagara region. Known to some as B-boy Skunk, Matthew is a self-taught street dancer specializing in the genres of breakdance and hip-hop. From a young age, Matthew was drawn to the risk and skills involved with high flying flips and tricks, idolizing dancers that appeared on America's Best Dance Crew. As a result, Matthew began educating himself in the art of tricking and parkour, later honing a skillset in breakdance and hip-hop.

In 2009 Matthew co-established a dance crew in St. Catharines called, Omega Crew. Matthew is passionate about building community, dancing and training alongside lifelong friends, and developing a notoriety within the breakdance industry.

Matthew continues to train and teach in styles of hip-hop dance and competes in several battles across North America, most notably, Universal Bboy League, New Era's Battle Under The Lights, Canadian Street Dance Championships, World Of Dance, Bring.Your.Own.Beat, Shock Dance Showdown Championship, and Hit The Floor Toronto/Montreal. Further, Matthew has provided stunts in the Wonders Magic Show at the Greg Frewin Theatre, at New Era's Apparel Launch, and has appeared on Canada’s Got Talent.
Matthew is currently completing his apprenticeship as a Mechanic and is a great role model who endeavours to provide greater accessibility for young boys looking to pursue and experiment in dance. Matthew learned firsthand that training and knowledge of an underground artform was scarce in the Niagara Region and he looks forward to developing programming at Versato Dance Inc., in the artform of breakdance.
